Frequently Asked Questions

How do I export my data?
Go to Settings > Sync & Data > Export Data. This will create a JSON file with all your dives, gear, certifications, dive sites, and settings. You can share it or save it to your Files app.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store:
  • iOS: Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions > Reef Pro
  • Android: Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Reef Pro

Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged.

How does offline mode work?
Reef is designed to work fully offline. All your data is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database. When you log a dive, add gear, or make any changes — everything happens instantly on your device. When internet becomes available, changes sync automatically to the cloud in the background. No action needed from you.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > About > Delete Account. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data from our servers. This action cannot be undone. Make sure to export your data first if you want to keep a copy.
How do I transfer guest data to an account?
If you started using Reef as a guest, you can link your data to a real account at any time. Go to Settings > Account and sign in with email, Apple, or Google. Your existing dive data will automatically be associated with your new account and synced to the cloud.
What's included in the free version?
The free version includes all features: dive logging, photos, gear tracking, certifications, stats, and dive site map. The only limits are:
  • Up to 25 dives
  • No cloud sync (data stays on your device only)

Upgrade to Reef Pro to unlock unlimited dives and cloud sync across devices.
